Publisher Deep silver announced the revival of the studio Free Radical Design to develop a new game in the series TimeSplitters… The newly assembled team included key members of the original Free Radical Design, including founders Steve Ellis and David Doc.
“Now it is finally possible to confirm that the studio is being formed and we have a plan for the next part of TimeSplitters. This is incredible. We cannot tell you more yet, but we look forward to sharing information in the future,” said Steve Ellis, director of development in the new Free Radical Design.
The renewed Free Radical Design is based in Nottingham and is now in the process of forming the studio. They plan to start developing the game only in a few months, so you shouldn’t count on a quick release…
Free Radical Design was founded as an independent studio in 1999 and has released five games over the next 9 years, including the TimeSplitters, Second Sight and Haze trilogy.
