Popular messenger Discord, which is very popular among the gaming community, has undergone a small redesign – the app face now has a new icon and font… The corresponding announcement was made through all the official channels of the program.

As noted in the official publication, representatives Discord inc, the redesign of the messenger logo has been asking for many years, but they decided to change it only now.
In the case of the icon Discord small but noticeable changes are dictated by a number of simple reasons. In particular, getting rid of the white frame and “horn“at the top of the logo, the artists made it easier for themselves to create future supporting visuals, including elements of the interface itself Discord, as well as all kinds of merchandise, like badges, t-shirts and more.
Also artists Discord noted that by smoothing out the rough edges of the logo, they hoped to make it more welcoming and visually appealing.
Reaction to redesign logo Discord among users, however, it turned out to be somewhat ambiguous. Some were indifferent to all the changes, while others were disappointed with the font choice and urged artists to reconsider their decisions.
