24 hour event Call of Duty: Warzone came to an end, and players are sent to the old Verdansk of 1984 – now it will become the main map of the royal battle.
A lot has been changed – even the opening intro. Operatives now jump from helicopters, just like in Blackout from Black ops 4, And the location has become more colorful.

For Verdansk 84, developers have prepared 7 completely new locations, some of which are known to Black Ops fans – for example, the dam has now a map Summit, where funiculars operate for the first time in Call of Duty history.
According to the developers, it was important for them to redo the dam – for the players it was too difficult a location, since it is difficult to move on it. And yes, Raven is incredibly happy to have for the first time in a series at Summit fucking funiculars.
At the same time, some of the known locations were left, but they were changed on a large scale – this applies to the airport and the stadium, where a completely new structure of levels for greater convenience. From the waiting area, it is now much more convenient to fight the snipers who are sitting on the roof of the control center.
The city center was also redesigned – now the battles there should be less intense (but still intense!). The developers are aware of the importance of the location, so they do not want to change its “rhythm” too much – however, something still needed to be changed.
If there is a queue in the Gulag, then the player can wake up in a chair in front of the TV – a reference to the first Black Ops.
We also tried to find out from the developers why they decided to leave Verdansk, and not create a completely new map – according to them, they have not finished with the city yet. They have a lot of ideas for its further development.

- In Verdansk, the Resurgence mode will be launched, when partners are automatically resurrected over time, if at least one partner is alive;
- On the “Island of Resurrection” it will be possible to create private games.
