Players complain about bugs, crashes, server unavailability, frame rate drops. At the same time, even the storyline single-player campaign is tied to online, so that many, having spent a very significant amount on the game (2,000 rubles for Russia), cannot advance beyond authentication.
The authors of Outriders remind that they have been working on the project for five years, and ask to judge the game not by the number of technical problems. They apologize to everyone affected, and they reassure that the issues are annoying not only the Outriders heroes, but also the creators of the game.
It is not yet known how soon People Can Fly and Square Enix will be able to cope with the problems. But there is no question of an obvious solution to decoupling a single player game from servers.
