A couple of days ago studio Soaring Pixels Games rendered on Kickstarter his debut project, a water adventure Breakwaters… And the attempt was successful: the game received the necessary funding in 3.5 hours. And now the campaign has 330% of the required amount.
The game takes place in a procedurally generated world with different biomes and dangers. Chief among them are the mighty titans who rise from the ocean and destroy everything in their path. Players will have to defeat huge monsters and help the local inhabitants restore their settlements.
The main difference between Breakwaters and similar action films will be how we handle water. We can build special devices that help attract water or keep it out of the way. But there is an opportunity to create special crystals that allow you to control the water element as you want.
Breakwaters is slated to launch into Early Access in the second quarter of 2023. In addition to PC, the game will also be released on Xbox and PlayStation consoles. And there are still 17 days left before the final of the Kickstarter campaign.
