Stone cannot call Cruella an absolute villain, because he knows how the character of the heroine developed and what caused this transformation. And the director of the film Craig Gillespie noted that the film is similar to “Joker” in the last element – like the Phoenix hero, Cruella goes through a certain emotional change, which pushes her to the dark side.
However, the tape has much more humor and moments of adventure than “Joker”. Also, the pictures will differ stylistically.
