Character designer Gravity rush and Gravity rush 2 and the creative director of the second part, Shunsuke Saito, announced that he had left SIE Japan Studio…
Many eminent Japanese developers have left SIE Japan Studio since the end of last year:
Keiichiro Toyama (author of the original Silent Hill, Siren, and Gravity Rush);
Kazunobu Sato (Puppeteer’s lead designer and producer for The Last Guardian);
Junya Okura (designer of the Siren and Gravity Rush series);
Bloodborne producers Teruyuki Toriyama and Masaaki Yamagiva.
At the same time, Toyama, Sato, and Okura founded Bokeh game studio, where they are already working on their new game.
Recall that the reason for the departure of the developers was the reorganization of the SIE Japan Studio. Sony confirmed last month that the studio will focus on developing Astro Bot from April 1.
