Nintendo made two major announcements on the Pokémon 25th Anniversary Special.
For starters, there will be remakes at the end of the year Pokemon diamond and Pokemon pearlwhich appeared about 15 years ago on the Nintendo DS. The developers promise to keep all the features of the original and embellish the game with completely new graphics.
Visually, it vaguely resembles a recent remake. The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening…
And the second project is much more interesting: a completely new adventure game based on “PokemonIn an open world set in the feudal Sinnoh). The village will serve as the base of the protagonist.
Players will have to complete the first Pokedex in the region, as well as find out the truth about the legendary monster Artsey. The creators of the trailer clearly tried to imitate The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – several frames seem to directly cite Zelda videos, which showed the open world.
Release Pokemon legends arceus will take place in early 2023 on Nintendo Switch only.
