Electronic Arts announced that today, February 25, the remaster Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit will receive an update that will improve picture quality on new and previous generation consoles.
- PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X: up to 4K and up to 60 frames per second.
- PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X: up to 4K and 50+ frames per second unlimited.
In addition, this update will provide players with a skinny editor that was not in the original game, but which was seen in the later parts of the series.
Players will find ready-made wraps and the ability to create their own. However, it is noted that custom wraps cannot be shared with other players.
Finally, the authors will fix some bugs in the game. A complete list of fixes is available here. The update will be released at 12:00 GMT.
