The initiative caused heated discussions on the network, which was joined by the deputy Sergei Boyarsky, First deputy chairman of the State Duma committee on information policy, information technology and communications. Commenting on the situation in his blog, he defended “Naruto“, informing that his daughter is a fan of the famous anime series, and he himself personally watched “dangerous“the show and saw nothing threatening or destructive in it for a young audience…

“As the father of a 12-year-old teenage girl, I’m a little surprised. My child, like most of her peers, grew up on the classics of Soyuzmultfilm and on Disney, sings songs of Victory, and modern pop and rap stars. She and her friends are from with great interest and pleasure they watch Naruto, discuss him, imitate (see photo) and empathize with his heroes.
I watched this cartoon with my daughters several times – I saw nothing wrong there. At first glance – an exciting, adventure story about friendship, fears, feat and difficulties. Dear parents, who is in the subject? Maybe I’m wrong, and Naruto, which is now labeled on ivi, okko and other 12+ services, is really so dangerous for our children that it should be banned? I doubt something, “said the deputy Sergei Boyarsky.
