Company Epic Games announced the release of a new major patch for battle royale Fortnite… The size of the patch greatly upset some players – they had to download as much 27 gigabytes… But there is also a pleasant moment.
The fact is that such volumes of data bring with them pleasant changes, thanks to which the general client of the popular game has significantly lost weight, freeing players on data carriers up to 60 gigabytes…
Please note the patch size will be larger than normal on PC (approx. 27 GB). This is to make optimizations on PC resulting in a massively reduced Fortnite file size (over 60 GB smaller), smaller downloads for future patches, and improved loading performance.

Total volume Fortnite on PC is now approximately 31 gigabytes… Along with this, the new patch introduces various changes to the game code, optimizing the overall level of performance, as well as loading speed.
