- Saints Row V will be a direct sequel to Saints Row: The Third, excluding the events of the fourth part and the spin-off Gat Out of Hell. According to the updated canon, these games are now part of the in-game TV show;
- The main protagonist of Saints Row V will be a completely new hero who will go against the gang of “Saints”, which has turned into a kind of evil empire;
- As the game progresses, players will be able to make decisions that affect the story. It will be possible to unite with other groups, for example, the “Wolf Articles”, in order to confront the “Saints” together;
- Saints Row V will take place in a modern version of Stillwater (the city of the first two parts), which has been significantly expanded. More countryside and new islands appeared;
- The boss (the main character of the previous parts) now wears tactical armor and a mask that changes his voice. This allowed the developers to close the issue with the appearance that the players created themselves;
- The tone of Saints Row V is described as the golden mean between the first, second and third movements;
- No superpowers;
- Visually, Saints Row V resembles a remaster of Saints Row: The Third, adjusted for even cooler graphics. There is no destructible environment in the game, however, the developers have significantly reworked the physical model, which began to feel like in GTA V;
- The character customization system is made in the manner of Saints Row 2;
- There are many ways to wear clothes;
- There is a customization of each part of the body, which allows you to turn your hero into a truly strange creature;
- Penis censorship has been changed. Now it is covered with a black stripe, which will take into account physics and move in tandem with the genitals while jumping and running;
- Weapon customization is not limited, as in Saints Row 4. You can use various attachments, skins and choose the type of ammunition;
- There will be multiplayer with support for up to 32 people, where gangs will fight for control of the city, as well as a co-op mode for 4 players.
