Microsoft presented a fresh trailer Battletoads, where finally revealed the release date – August 20.
A genre mix of beat ’em up, platforming, action and arcade will be released on Xbox One and PC, becoming part of the Xbox Game Pass library on release day. In addition, the game will be available for purchase on Steam.
When the project was first shown a year ago, many criticized it for its flamboyant visual style, expecting to see something fundamentally different. During the year, almost nothing was said about the game, but now it became clear that no one began to redo the drawing.
The development of the project is led by the young studio Dlala in collaboration with the original authors from Rare.
