French publishing house Ubisoft signed an agreement with Netflix, according to which the latter will release an animated adaptation of the game on the streaming service Splinter cell, reports Variety… It is expected that the show will be performed in an anime style, but which studio will be responsible for the project is still unknown.
To translate the famous series of stealth action games into television format was commissioned Derek Kolstad, known for his work on “John Wick“. Derek will write and executive produce the animated series. According to the source, the TV adaptation of Splinter Cell will consist of two seasons and will have 16 episodes.
Netflix, Ubisoft and Kolstad representatives declined to comment.
