According to the company, this is the toughest tempered glass on the market. It is resistant to various mechanical influences, including drops from a height of two meters. For comparison, Gorilla Glass 6 has this figure of 1.6 meters, and Gorilla Glass 5 – 1.2 meters.
It is also noted that Victus is twice as resistant to scratches as the same version of Gorilla Glass 6. It is claimed that now the smartphone can be carried along with the keys – the glass will withstand it. Although, of course, it cannot be considered a panacea. Sand and iron shavings can damage it.
It has not yet been specified when the new glass will appear in other smartphones. Most likely, this will happen after the release of the Galaxy Note20.
