Company Wargaming announced the release of a new version update 0.9.6 for a popular online project World of warships, which brought into the game three new German aircraft carriers – Rhein (IV level) Weser (VI level) and August von parseval (VIII level).
New military marine equipment can be obtained for performing special tasks that drop out of the German Aircraft Carrier containers.
In the World of Warships, the German attack aircraft are equipped with a new type of ammunition – armor-piercing missiles, which, when hit in the enemy’s stronghold, can cause high damage.
Bombers use armor-piercing bombs that are most effective against slow targets. The torpedoes have high speed, but short range and low damage.
Aircraft have a high cruising speed, but they have a small margin of combat points.
Another feature of the fresh update is the German Aircraft Containers, which can be obtained for implementing the Directives and from the Procurement. In the container, in addition to the task of early access to German aircraft carriers, you can find a new expendable camouflage “Black-White-Red” and other awards.
A new temporary resource – German tokens – is available for completing special chains of combat missions. Tokens can be exchanged at the Admiralty for the following rewards:
- Permanent Iron Cross camouflage for Großer kurfürst (X level) Z-52 (X level) Hindenburg (X level) and Manfred von richthofen (X level)
- Consumable Camouflage “Black-White-Red”,
- loans
- flag signals.
In addition, update 0.9.6 contains a completely redesigned and modified “Equipment” menu (previously the “Modules” tab). According to the developers, now preparing the ship for battle will become clearer and will take less time. Management of upgrades, equipment and modules of the ship will be carried out in one window, without the need to switch between tabs.
Installation of modules is carried out with one click, and any modules of different types are compatible with each other.
Players will have the opportunity to view ships not yet purchased in the new special mode, “View Ship”.
The new update also includes many interesting and useful changes.
The update will host a season of ranked battles in the 7 by 7 format on Tier VIII ships.
Players expect a modified version of the port of Hamburg, as well as other improvements. For example, updating the audio parameters in the game and adding a number of new sound effects.
