Inside the players there is a letter of appreciation from the head of game development Neil Drackmann. Naughty Dog hopes that The Last of Us: Part II can captivate you and even possibly make you reconsider your views on concepts such as justice and compassion.
“Hundreds of developers have made a game that not only entertains, but also offers food for thought,” Drackmann said.
The main element of the collection edition was the figure of a bloodied Ellie with a guitar. The heroine sits on a piece of bitumen slab and is sad.
Buyers also get the game itself on two discs, a limited steel case – a steel book and a 48-page art book with illustrations and comments by hardcover developers.
Other bonuses include an Ellie bracelet, six badges, four stickers, and codes for downloading a dynamic theme, a digital soundtrack, a digital album with illustrations, and a set of six avatars for PSN.
