Month ago Electronic arts notified users about the upcoming cessation of content support for Battlefield V, confirming shortly after that the next shooter of the line was created for non-x-ray platforms and will be released in the fall of 2023. Usually the games of the series are announced in the spring of the year of release, however, in the case of the forthcoming sequel, the first information may appear much earlier.
The MP1ST portal drew attention to the July 176 reversal scan that appeared on the network issue of Official PlayStation Magazine UK, which lists 38 approved projects for Playstation 5. The list also includes Battlefield 6 and a footnote stating that additional information about the shooter will be published in 177 issue OPM UK.
The August issue is due out on June 30, which means that if the magazine made no mistake, the official announcement or at least something related to Battlefield 6 should be expected shortly before. Perhaps a shooter will be presented June 12th on a digital event EA Play Live 2023where news and world premieres are promised. The broadcast starts at 02:00 Moscow time.
Journalists requested a comment from EA to clarify the information, but so far have not received a response.
