Modder zheg released a pretty curious add-on for Doom 2which essentially turns a classic shooter into a brutal third-person slasher with an emphasis on close combat. Modification called Doom: Eternal Slayer contains a three-dimensional model of the Executioner of Rock, armed with a blade from the last game, as well as special animation of the blows.
According to the modder, the final version of his add-on will include three types of melee weapons, along with weapons from the original Doom 2. In addition, the project will contain an exclusive battle with the boss Marauder and the Sin Icon.
