During a recent channel broadcast “Russia 24” Head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova spoke about the approximate dates for the opening of cinemas.
According to her, this will happen only after passing through the three stages of removal of quarantine – but it’s completely unclear what specific date is in question.
At the first stage, walks are allowed in small companies with observance of social distance. The second will open stores and services. The third stage includes “such walks to which we are accustomed” – what exactly is meant by this formulation, again, is unclear.
Not so long ago, the Ministry of Culture and the Association of Cinema Owners asked Rospotrebnadzor to create a plan for the safe operation and opening of cinemas during a pandemic. But, apparently, the implementation of this idea will have to wait some more time.
Some, amid quarantine, have already begun selling special certificates for future premieres – without dates and movie titles.
