Independent Australian single developer Christian Kebb unveils debut trailer and Steam– page of his first game project, role-playing adventure thriller Lucen. The game is due out in 2023.
The protagonist of the adventure, Lucien, discovers that his village was shrouded in mystical darkness, and all the villagers fell asleep in a sound sleep. To find a way to help them, he takes a sword and bow and sets off on a journey to unknown lands.
Players will enjoy a picturesque open world full of surprises and secrets, as well as battles with its most diverse inhabitants: from ordinary spiders to fantastic giants. We can decide whether to develop sword skills or archery skills, or even try to find a middle ground.
Creator Lucen planned to launch a game campaign on Kickstarterbut decided to postpone these plans for the time being due to the coronavirus pandemic. In his opinion, it is unfair to ask for support at a time when people are going through difficult times. He also called on anyone with money difficulties to suspend support for Patreon.
Instead of working on the Kickstarter campaign, Kebb intends to concentrate on releasing the Lucen demo. This should help him attract investors and publishers.
