Manufacturer Diamond Flower Inc. (DFI) from Taiwan is preparing to release a single-board computer based on a processor AMD Ryzen Embedded. The board measures 84 x 55 mm, which is comparable to Raspberry pi.
Thanks to the x86-th architecture, the computer can run Linux or Windows 10 IoT Enterprise.
Its specifications are as follows:
Hybrid processor Ryzen Embedded R1000 with heat pack 12 W
Graphics Radeon Vega 3
2 to 8 GB DDR4-3200 RAM in single channel mode
EMMC drive from 16 to 64 GB.
Ports: two Micro HDMI 1.4, a gigabit RJ-45 network interface (Intel controller), one and USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C and a Mini PCI-E expansion slot.
The release is scheduled for the third quarter of this year, the price is not specified. This solution is clearly designed for embedded systems, however, if desired, a compact gaming or multimedia system is relatively easy to assemble on its basis.
