The name of the screenwriter was a surprise – Roberto orcywho was one of the authors The New Spider-Man 2 with Andrew Garfield in the title role. Among the recognized minuses of the tape was just the script, which was mentioned by critics and spectators – but this apparently did not bother the studio.
True, in the production of the second film with Garfield, Sony itself actively intervened in the work of the authors, so it is not clear how much the scriptwriters are to blame for the final result.
In addition to Spider, Orsi worked on the script for the latest films in the Star Trek universe, the first two parts of Transformers, and so on.
It is not known which hero of the spider world will be dedicated to spin-offs, but the authors have a rather rich choice. It is possible that the main character will again be one of the antagonists of Spider-Man.
At the moment, the studio is engaged in the production of the sequel “Venom”, and already this summer “Morbius” with Jared Leto in the lead role will be released. Earlier it was reported about plans to film the stories of other characters – the Black Cat, the superheroine Silk and so on.
