In my opinion, the system is evil / kind in Mass Effect only spoils everything and makes the game dumber.

Why can’t you just pose dilemmas for a player like in DA: Origins or The Witcher? Without kindergarten, “this is good, but this is bad!”. What is the point of the election, if you can stupidly press the upper answers, and the hero will always be well done? You don’t even need to think, no moaning. In fact, you make a choice only at the very beginning. I decided to become an apostate – thoughtlessly choose the lower answers and watch how Shepard shit stylishly. There is no point in changing the course during the game, because the coolest answers (red and blue) will become inaccessible.
