Despite the fact that Dreams – not the most hyped release of the year, a new project Media molecule still remains an important platform exclusive. In fact, “Dreams” is primarily an advanced editor for creating your own games, and the story campaign that comes with them Art’s dream is a nice addition.
Journalists IGN recently were able to test the plot of Dreams, finding out that gamers will take its passage near 2-3 hours. Nevertheless, as promised, the campaign pleases with a variety of mechanics, styles and genres, and its story turned out to be the most mature of all Media Molecule games. It is further noted that all levels of Art’s Dream were developed using the in-game editor, however, they cannot be changed in any way. Instead, during the passage, gamers will be able to collect collectibles that provide access to music, characters, and so on, which can then be used in their own creations.
In addition, it turned out that users who bought Dreams in early access will be able to start playing the release version three days earlier than others, with February 11th. A full launch of the project will take place on the 14th.
