We’re at the end of another week already! Where has the time gone? This was a pretty big week for games in testing but we’ll start with Nebula Project which was canceled before it was ever revealed and the studio creating it shut down.
Path of Exile’s expansion Fall of Oriath launches today. Unfortunately, Ark: Survival Evolved has delayed their launch until the end of the month.
Even though it’s still in testing Conan Exiles has announced an expansion taking you into the snowy north. It will release on August 16th and the full game is expected to launch in Q1 2018.
Bless is back in the news with rebuild testing, currently only available in Korea.
Valnir Rok
If Norse mythology is what floats your boat then you may want to take a look at Valnir Rok which is now in Alpha. It’s being called an online survival roleplaying game by the developers.
If you need a space MOBA in your life then you may want to check out Fringe Wars which is currently in Alpha. There isn’t a whole lot of information available on how to play or even an official website. But a recent press release has said that closed beta will be coming soon.
The Founder’s Alpha for City of Heroes spiritual successor Valiance Online also started this week.
Escape from Tarkov’s closed beta has started.
Dreadnought’s PS4 testing has moved into Open Beta.
Strategy PvP game INSIDIA has announced they will be holding an open beta sometime this summer.
Shroud of the Avatar and Guild Wars 2 are both holding open beta events later in August.
For Shroud of the Avatar, the event is running from August 9th to the 31st. While Guild Wars 2 will have their new expansion available to the public on two different weekends. You’ll be able to play the expansion, Path of Fire August 11th-13th and 18th-20th.
