Independent studio Insane code announced that it is preparing a version for Nintendo Switch of its racing retro arcade 80’s Overdrive. The game will appear on the hybrid console on May 7 worldwide.
80’s Overdrive is a 1980s retro-style 2D pixel racing game. It is stylized for games for 8- and 16-bit consoles. The 80’s Overdrive was originally released in 2017 on the Nintendo 3DS, and this is her first visit to other consoles.
Players will be available six retro cars, including Penetrator GT, Intruder Turbo and De Loan. You can unlock new tracks and earn money to buy and improve new cars in a career campaign – you can run into a police chase in it.
For experienced riders, the Time-Attack mode is designed, it has to go through the track at a speed, trying to get to the final, until the timer expires. And lovers of unique tracks can use the built-in editor to create their own test.
