According to preliminary information, Battlefield 2023 is dedicated to Third world war, in which NATO forces oppose the offensive of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in Europe and the United States of America.
The single player campaign will continue to develop the concept “War stories“One of them will be about an American soldier who is trying to stop a Russian advance in a suburban area in the US. The second will focus on an MI-6 agent who helps resistance fighters in Eastern Europe.
The multiplayer should noticeably increase in scale, returning to the idea from Battlefield 2when up to 128 players could come together on the battlefield (64 versus 64). Modes will return Team Deathmatch, Domination, Conquest, Breakthrough and Grand operations…
Concept Grand operations of Battlefield v (battle divided into several in-game days) has also been redesigned, now battles are divided into five stages-days. For winning a round, the team will receive bonuses in the next round. The winner of the match is determined at the end of the fifth round, so the losing side can turn the tide of an unsuccessful battle in the end.

Day 1. The Russians have to destroy several targets on the map. NATO fighters need to capture a hill in an area that is behind enemy lines.
Day 3. If the RF Armed Forces win in the second round, the teams will have the same advantages. In the third round, each team receives a “command tank” (as in Battlefield 2141) with increased health and armor, which must be escorted to a certain point. The one who is the first to destroy enemy armored vehicles or deliver an allied tank to the desired area wins.
Day 4. If the Russians win in the third round, they will receive an additional advantage in the form of additional vehicles. NATO forces will get nothing.
In the fourth round, the western alliance needs to defend the city hall until the timer is reset. The Russian army must seize the control point at the city hall.
Day 5. The rules in the fifth round resemble Frontlines mode (as in Battlefield 1). There are seven control points on the map. By capturing one of them, the team will move forward the front line to get closer to the enemy base.
Since Russia won again in the fourth round, they are one checkpoint closer to the NATO base. The Russians will also receive additional vehicles, respawn tickets, and air support that squad leaders can call.
If NATO forces win in the fifth round, despite the advantage of the RF Armed Forces, they will be declared the winner of the entire match.
The insider knows about three maps: an American suburb, a European city, and Russian forests. The new part of Battlefield is due out in 2023 on PC, Xbox Series X and PS5.
