Company Bethesda announced the release of update # 6 for DOOM Eternal… It improves graphics on next-generation consoles, improves performance, adds ray tracing and 4K resolution at 60fps, and a new 120fps mode. Additionally, update # 6 adds the Taras Nabad master level and a new arena to BATTLEMODE for all players for free.
Listed below are all the graphics modes added for each platform.
Xbox series x
- Three new graphics modes:
- ray tracing mode at 1800p and 60 frames / sec.
- performance mode at 1800p and 120 fps.
- balanced mode in 4K and 60 fps.
- HDR10 in all graphics modes
- Graphic parameters of the “Ultra” category
- Support for playing BATTLEMODE across generations of Xbox platforms
- Variable refresh rate
- Support for Variable Rate Shading technology
Xbox series s
- Two new graphics modes:
- performance mode in 1080p and 120 frames / sec.
- balanced mode at 1440p and 60 fps.
- HDR10 in all graphics modes
- Support for playing BATTLEMODE across generations of Xbox platforms
- Variable refresh rate
- Support for Variable Rate Shading technology
- Please Note: Ray Tracing is not available on Xbox Series S consoles
Playstation 5
- Three new graphics modes:
- ray tracing mode at 1800p and 60 frames / sec.
- performance mode at 1584p and 120 fps.
- balanced mode in 4K and 60 fps.
- HDR10 in all graphics modes
- Graphics options for the Ultra category
- Support for playing BATTLEMODE between different generations of PlayStation platforms
- Support for adaptive triggers DualSense
PC
- Ray-tracing mode (availability and performance may vary depending on player’s PC configuration).
Please note that all of the above modes use dynamic resolution scaling. Graphics modes and HDR require a compatible monitor. Performance mode requires a 120Hz display to play. Balanced mode and performance mode are not available when ray tracing is enabled. All of the listed screen resolutions require a compatible display.
