130 people worked on the official Hyper Scape trailer – review

The other day the company Ubisoft made a presentation Ubisoft directduring which it announced the start of open beta testing of its online action movie Hyper scape. And it was accompanied by a spectacular cinematic trailer, the creation of which attracted the Polish studio Platige image.
The video, which tells about the background of the emergence of the royal battles of the future, lasts three minutes. But work on it began many months ago and 130 people were involved in its creation of the video. Masters of digital animation were in the Ubisoft office even in the early stages of working on the game and gained access to all the latest materials.

Work on the video was under quarantine, which further complicated the process. Nevertheless, Platige Image was able to carry out a full capture of movements. This was the key in the process of creating the video, because the emphasis was on the realism and smoothness of the animation.

Sessions lasted five days. The first day was spent on testing, then for two days the actors worked on the site. The day was spent on recording facial expressions, and another day on finishing work, filming and rewriting all kinds of little things.

Maciej Kwiatkowski, the master of fencing, who participated in the work on the second and third part, took part in the sessionThe witcher“, Games Observer, Vampyr, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 and stunts for the movie “King Arthur’s Sword“. In addition to him, animation specialists worked on parkour: Monika Minska and Yakub Grossman.

Platige Image works are known all over the world. The most famous video of the Polish studio, “Artem’s Nightmare” for Metro: Exodusreceived an Internet Oscar Webby. A number of awards were also awarded to the trailer and intro to The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings.
