The publication includes the main game and addition Zubmariner, which added to the Sunless Sea the ability to turn your ship into a submarine to discover new cities, meet new opponents and find treasures hidden in the depths of the sea.
Zubmariner was released on PC in October 2016, and in August 2018, Zubmariner Edition made it to PlayStation 4.
In addition, Failbetter Games announced that Sunless Skies: Sovereign Edition will be released on PC, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One in August or September of this year. Previously, the studio noted that the owners of the PC version of the main game will receive a new edition for free.
Sovereign Edition will add to Sunless Skies new stories about the starving crew, a redesigned character progression system and an updated user interface, as well as several new features that determine the captain’s past. Finally, players will be able to continue to improve their character’s characteristics after reaching the maximum level.
