Zach Snyder confirmed that old rumors about his own project on Star Wars had a foundation.
A story inspired by the film “Seven Samurai” Akira Kurosawa, was supposed to talk about a group of Jedi warriors who were on a mission. The action would unfold after the sixth episode of the main saga.
According to Snyder, new characters were supposed to participate in the plot, as he wanted to tell his story within the framework of the grand universe. However, the project never made it to the production stage.
At the same time, the concept is still of interest to the director, who has since taken it beyond the confines of Star Wars and turned it into an independent sci-fi storyline. And Snyder still hopes that one day he will get his hands on the full implementation of this idea.
Recently, by the way, the director also revealed that “Man of Steel” could become part of Christopher Nolan’s cinematic universe.
