According to Sam Lake, before the release of Control, the Finns did not want to attach much importance to this, but now we can talk about it openly – Remedy wants to create a “connected universe” for their games.
In “Control”, for example, one could look at the events of Alan Wake from a different angle, having learned some new details of what had happened. It’s clear that the missing writer was never found, although almost 10 years have passed.
However, the developers managed to explain some events of Alan Wake – some fans wrote that thanks to Control they understood much more about what happened in Bright Falls.
In addition, AWE is also ahead – it’s dedicated to Wake.
For now, I can only say that you will learn more about the Bureau’s investigations regarding what happened at Alan Wake and the current state of affairs.
It’s nice that on the 10th anniversary of Alan Wake, we have the opportunity to tell more stories about the series for her fans.

Control: AWE is preparing to release for PS4, Xbox One and PC, but so far it does not even have an approximate release date.
