Company Sega announced the release of remaster Yakuza 5. The event is noteworthy because now on Playstation 4 all major chapters of the series are available, including Yakuza 0, Yakuza kiwami, Yakuza Kiwami 2, Yakuza 3 Remastered, Yakuza 4 Remastered, Yakuza 5 Remastered and Yakuza 6: The Song of Life.
The developers also took the opportunity to report the release of the physical edition of the collection The Yakuza Remastered Collection, including reprints of the third, fourth and fifth parts of the series for the PS4 console. The kit comes in a bright red digipack with a dragon tattoo and contains one specific thing that will surely please true franchise fans.
As you know, the western release of the original Yakuza 5 for the PlayStation 3 took place only in digital form, which is why collectors of boxed games in the series were forced to leave empty space on their shelves. With the release of the collection, SEGA saw an opportunity to fix it, so each edition of the first day will be equipped with a Yakuza 5 PS3 case with a western cover and an English logo.
Later this year in the West will be released the seventh license plate of the series, which received the subtitle Like the Dragon.
