According to the head of the marketing department Aaron Greenberg’s XboxMicrosoft has a few surprises in store for users of other platforms. No, of course, the organizers of the show are focusing on the ninth generation of consoles, but new projects will not devote all the screen time.
“This is why the broadcast was named Games Showcase and not Xbox Series X or Next-Gen,” explains Greenberg.
His words fit in perfectly with the recent leak that third-party games will be on the show. Viewers can also look forward to showing Age of Empires 3: Definitive Edition and Battletoads, which were recently rated by the Australian Ratings Commission.
The broadcast will be conducted via Twitch and YouTube in several languages, including Russian. The picture boasts 1080p resolution and 60 frames per second. Upon completion, the video will be re-uploaded in 4K.
The Xbox Games Showcase will focus exclusively on games. No news on new consoles or pricing will be announced.
