Xbox-exclusive Ori and the Will of the Wisps attracted millions of players – developers boasted statistics

Adventure platformer released in March this year Ori and the Will of the Wisps attracted over 2 million players. The developers reported this in a published infographic, which also reflected the main statistics of the game since the release.

Over the past three months, 423 thousand people reached the final credits, of which 45 thousand completed their journey through the Niven forest at a high level of difficulty and another 9 thousand completed it in less than four hours. In total, the players spent more than 14.5 million hours in the Ori sequel, killing 240 million times during this time. At the same time, 7 thousand gamers were able to complete the whole game without any death.

More numbers:

  • Passed all the battle shrines – 442 thousand players;
  • Opened all the abilities – 386 thousand players;
  • Collected all collectibles – 157 thousand players;
  • The developers defeated in each test of spirits – 118 thousand players;
  • The most explored locations are Inkwater Marsh, Kwolokʼs Hollow and Luma Pools;
  • The most popular side quests are The Brave Moki, The Lost Compass, and Into the Darkness.
