According to open statistics by Steam, in the first 24 hours after the release of the add-on, the peak of players was almost 232 thousand people. In December, this figure did not exceed 70 thousand. At least a couple of hundreds of thousands of players returned to the project, and maybe even more.
Moreover, the first weekend is still ahead, so indicators can grow – this usually happens. Now the game is in fourth place in the ranking of the most popular Steam games.
This, in addition to the release of the extension, could be facilitated by a decrease in the price of the base version of Monster Hunter: World – now it is sold for 999 rubles. The extension is given for 1599 rubles, and the set of the game with the addition – for 2399 rubles.
