According to this map, Blizzard placed the most tasks in Highmountain locations from the World of Warcraft: Legion expansion. At that time, the Horde and the Alliance declared peace, and their quest chains were almost the same. In the next addition – World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth – the factions again started an open military conflict, but in terms of the number of quests Zuldazar and Tiragarde Sound were still in the top 5.

Only one location from the World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King add-on – Icecrown got into the top 10. With the exception of the area with the Lich King castle, there were much fewer tasks in MMORPG before Legion – the old locations mainly have from 50 to 200 quests.
