California jury admits Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein guilty of two of the five counts. This is reported by American media.
Weinstein convicted of coercion to oral sex assistant Miriam Halei, as well as the rape of the stylist Jessica mann. At the same time, the jury acquitted the producer on three points, among which there were more serious charges, which threatened with life imprisonment.
According to law enforcement agencies, Harvey Weinstein is now facing five to 25 years in prison. However, the lawyers of the producer intend to appeal the verdict, which has not yet been announced.
“The battle is not over yet,” emphasized lawyer Donna Rotunno, representing Weinstein’s interests.
