Series Sniper ghost warrior from the Polish studio Ci games has never been too successful either commercially or in terms of critical reviews. However, in last year’s tactical shooter Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts the studio managed to realize some new creative ideas, so the project was qualitatively different from the first trilogy. It is hoped that the franchise will continue a new development vector along with the release Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2, the development of which became known from the statement of the president of CI Games Marek Tyminsky.
In an interview for one of the Polish websites, he stated that the development process Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 already started. According to him, experienced developers are taking part in creating a new project, which will be much like the last game, and less money will be spent on its development. The release date has not yet been presented, but Tyminsky assured that this year is definitely not worth waiting for a new shooter. Moreover, the president of CI Games called the target platforms for playing PCs and consoles, but did not specify whether this is the current or next generation of devices.
As part of the interview, Tyminsky also updated information on the development process. Lords of the Fallen 2, stating that the future role-playing action is being created for next-generation consoles and modern PCs. He noted that after a series of layoffs in 2018, CI Games has a small number of employees (40 people in the core team + 9 testers), but to accelerate the pace of game development, the team is currently recruiting new developers.
Launch a tactical shooter Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts Held in November 2019 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The game received mixed reviews from critics and the press, but the average score was better than the first trilogy. Together with the release of last year’s title, CI Games made fans forget the unpolished past games of the series, while at the same time offering them more realistic gameplay and allowing them to complete the tasks they wanted. If the creators manage to fill Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 even more exciting missions with variable tasks, then players may well get the best franchise game on release.
