Streamers are always looking for ways to make the presentation of their material unique and stand out among many other players broadcasting online. I decided to conduct a similar experiment recently. Matthew “Mizkif” Rinaudowho wanted to sleep during the broadcast and see what happens.
After three hours of the stream, Mizkif turned off the light and went to bed, leaving the broadcast on. Before that, he asked the audience to try to wake him with the help of videos and audio recordings sent for donations.
Waking up Matthew returned to his “workplace“, and told how much he managed to earn during sleep, that is, doing absolutely nothing for this.
“$ 5,500 in the form of donations. Just for a dream. I just slept and earned $ 5,500 without doing anything. Just think about how much the popular streamers earn, which lead long-term streams and constantly communicate with the audience.”
He thanked the audience for their active participation and presented one of the subscribers with the Nintendo Switch console. In addition, he promised to spend the money earned during sleep on “something good”.
Last December, a streamer spent $ 5,000 on charity buying Christmas presents for children at St. David’s Children’s Hospital.
However, Mizkif was not the only streamer who slept on broadcast. Last year, after a 35-hour stream, about 9 hours went to sleep with XQc, and the popular WoW Classic player under the nickname Esfand fell asleep while pumping his character.
