Veterans of the development of the cult Japanese RPG series Suikoden announced their entry to the crowdfunding platform Kickstarter with my new project Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, which promises to become a true spiritual heir to the legendary series of the company Konami.
Eiyuden Chronicle promises to be a full-fledged jRPG, combining attractive 2D graphics with 3D locations, and will offer users a vivid storyline, complex gameplay with turn-based combat system, over a hundred characters that can be accepted into your party, as well as the mechanics of building your own fortress.
For the narrative line in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes the screenwriter answers Yoshitaka Murayama, the author of the plots of the first and second issues Suikoden. The rest of the new team Rabbit & bear also consists of various veterans of the Japanese gaming industry, including experts who have had a hand in Castlevania, Wild arms and Tales of.
The fundraising campaign will run from July 27 by August 28. In total, the developers hope to collect $ 500,000. If successful, the project will definitely come out on PC.
At the same time, additional goals imply a release on other platforms, including Playstation 5, Xbox series x and Nintendo Switch.
