Established in 2010 Moon studios released her debut project Ori and the Blind Forest supported by Xbox Game Studios. The upcoming sequel to the platformer will be re-released by forces Microsoft, however, the studio itself remains independent and this position is currently completely satisfied with it.

The developer explained that he does not care about money, and the presence of creative freedom is more important for him than the financial component. He currently does not intend to sell his studio to an American platform holder or to anyone else.
“The intellectual property rights of the role-playing action that we are creating now belong to us. Again, I reply, since I receive a lot of messages about this – at this stage there is no point in selling. This project will be our first AAA title, so if we’ll ever decide to consider this possibility, not earlier than the release of this game. Although, to tell you the truth, the current situation in Moon suits me all. I can create games that I really want, I work with the most talented people in the industry and now I can realize any of my developer’s dreams – so why take the risk of simply making us a little richer? I don’t care about money, we just want to create the best games in the world and now we are fine, so I’ll change the principles of our work I don’t see the point. If we achieve great success and make a lot of money, well, great, but I want this to remain a byproduct of creating something that will make many people happy. Not being a slave to money and being able to say no has done us a lot of good. We don’t accept shit deals from publishers and don’t intend to play anybody’s violin, we have creative freedom and we are really happy with what we have. It would be nice to have a ton of money in your account, right? But the chances are good that with this my daily life will change more badly than good.
I hope everyone understands everything, and this will finally clarify why we are not interested in selling. “
The next release of Moon Studios will be Ori and the Will of the WispsReleased March 11th on the Xbox One and PC. The game has already gone to the “gold”.
