Waited seven years: Russian and Belarusian gamers lined up in long lines for The Last of Us: Part II for PlayStation 4

Today the world premiere of the game The Last of Us: Part II – a new major exclusive for Playstation 4 from studio Naughty dog. Fans from around the world waited almost 7 years for the continuation of the cult first part, and finally the new product went on sale and expectedly made a stir among the owners of the console, including from the CIS countries.

You won’t surprise anyone with a long line-up for a gaming novelty for a long time, but another thing when it comes to fans from Belarus who are ready to stand for hours on end with their copy of The Last of Us: Part II.

According to the 42.TUT.BY portal, such a picture could be observed in Minsk, where since the night a long chain of customers had lined up at one of the stores, pre-ordering the long-awaited hit. Only one person was allowed into the store in order to maintain social distance amid a coronavirus pandemic.

Queues for the game were also observed in St. Petersburg. Here, lovers of boxed versions gathered at the GameBuy store – also at night.
