Waited: Nintendo Switch owners will soon be told about new games

Company Nintendo announced the launch of a new series of programs Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase, which, as the name suggests, will be dedicated to new games from its partners. Today at 17:00 the first presentation will be presented, which will last approximately 10 minutes

“We will share news on some of the previously announced games for #NintendoSwitch,” Nintendo Russia tweeted.

A tweet from the US division of the company emphasizes that the Partner Showcase series will focus on games from Nintendo’s development and publishing partners.

It’s not entirely clear from the description, it’s just games from third-party manufacturers, with the release of which Nintendo can help in some regions (like Bravely Default 2 from Square Enix), or they can also present projects sponsored by the company.

Previously, the editor of the publication VentureBeat Jeff Grubb argued that Nintendo would not hold a full-fledged big Direct at least until the end of summer. According to the company’s plans, the coronavirus pandemic hit hard. For example, back at E3 2023, which ultimately did not take place, the Japanese were going to present games with fanfare for the 35th anniversary of Super Mario. As a result, one of them, Paper Mario: The Origami King, just announced on Twitter and have already managed to release.
