According to Diesel, he looked at the situation differently – since he himself became a producer. The first thing he did was call Paul Walker and offered to return to the franchise, to which he replied in the negative. The actor’s opinion instantly changed after he learned that Diesel himself would act as one of the producers. And the general plot of the universe took a different path.
But Diesel does not deny the possibility of a solo Toretto story, and the actor refused to disclose details when asked if this would be a prequel about the fate of the young hero. And the new films in the main series are likely to reveal even more details from Dominic’s past.
