Vikings star to star in Netflix’s The Witcher prequel

Streaming service Netflix approved for one of the main roles in the series The Witcher: Blood Origin Lawrence O’Fouraine (soap opera “Vikings“,”Black 47th“). According to the portal Deadline, the Irish actor in the prequel “Witcher“will play the role of a representative of a clan of warriors named Fjall, who vowed to protect the king.

According to the description, the hero of Lawrence is experiencing mental anguish in connection with the loss of a loved one in battle, and during the journey he will face a battle side by side with the most unexpected allies.

Earlier it became knownthat the actress was approved for the main female role in the series Jodie Turner-Smith, who will embody on the screen the image of an elite warrior named Eily, who has a divine voice. She left her clan to become a wandering musician, however certain events on the Continent force her to take up the blade again.

The Witcher: Blood Origin will take place 1200 years before the events of the main series “The Witcher” and will tell the story of the creation of the first prototype monster hunter, as well as the events preceding the “Conjugation of the spheres”, when the worlds of monsters, humans and elves united to become one whole.
