In the new version Telegram for iOS, the expected video calling feature has appeared. True, it is still available in test mode and needs manual activation.
To enable it, you need to do the following:
- Download the latest version 6.3 from the App Store (you may need to wait for it to appear)
- Tap the settings icon (with a gear) ten times to open the debug menu (Debug menu)
- Activate the Experimental Feature item.
After that, the Video Call icon will appear, which will allow you to call another user via video. True, for a successful connection, it is necessary that the same feature be activated from the other end.
It has not yet been announced when this feature will appear in the release and will be available on other platforms.
