Vampire Rain Got Better: BloodRayne Remasters 1 & 2 Get New Large-Scale Patches

Last November, the company Ziggurat Interactive released remasters on Steam and GOG services Bloodrayne and Bloodrayne 2 with support for 4K resolution, improved rendering, improved lighting and other useful changes.

Today, both projects have received new large-scale patches that should make them even better. As developers expect, Ultimate Update will be the last significant update to the cult vampire action games that were born in the early 2000s

The recent updates include a lot of tweaks that fans have been asking for, including the textures of the mutants with the correct flesh color as in the original console version of BloodRayne. A complete list of innovations is presented below.

BloodRayne: Terminal Cut:

  • Textures on enemy models have been restored to their authentic look from the original console version;
  • Added Japanese voiceovers and subtitles;
  • Additional improvements to the rendering of water and other textures;
  • Various bug fixes.

BloodRayne 2: Terminal Cut:

  • Changed the balance in the battle with the boss Ephemera;
  • Restored missing music and sound tracks;
  • Improved the visual part of bonus materials;
  • Improved Russian localization;
  • Various bug fixes.

Before May 21st BloodRayne: Terminal Cut and BloodRayne 2: Terminal Cut are available on Steam with a 40% discount for 216 rubles every… A similar offer also applies to GOG.
