Dataminers found in files Valorant information about the capabilities of two agents – Crusader and Shatter. The first used a shield to block damage (this shield could also be thrown), and the second was able to create his own clone to lure opponents.
Shortly after this information was published by some media, the studio’s lead character designer Valorant Riot Games Ryan “Morello” Scott statedthat the agents mentioned above were canceled a long time ago.
Also designer explainedthat such files remain in the game to use only some of their elements in other places. If you remove them, it will lead to bugs.
Recall that the Valorant developers plan to release 6 new agents per year.
